Here you can download the Omnibat software and a user guide. Changes to the software and known bugs are listed under each version. Using Omnibat requires a valid licence key. Each license key may be used on one stationary computer and one laptop owned by the same person or organisation.
The latest Omnibat version usually appear on the forum before it is available on this page. Check forum for newer version.

This new version has the following improvements:
* About 25-55% performance improvement.
* Time and dates can be shown in id overview (main screen) too if you use the --showdates switch.
* New shortcut: ctrl+v for tag as bush cricket.
* Reduced risk of junk file being identified as a bat.

* Unknown animal sound requiring validation are now shown properly in the stats.

* Error in the resending mechanism when downloading database over unreliable connections fixed.

Omnibat 0.97
Released 2010-06-07
New version of Omnibat is available now. The big feature for this release is that Omnibat is much less likely to miss bats in files.
* Identification should now be much less likely to miss bats and be more reliable overall.
* Matching more than about 10000 files in a row resulted in bad match results for the following matches, fixed.
* Max energy frequency was actual max amplitude frequency. Fixed so that it actual uses energy, not amplitude.
* A possible error during the first download of a database was fixed.
* New measurment tool implemented. Max amplitude for the most intensive time slice.
* More sp. variants available in tag list.
* Zipping files with spaces in file path didn't work, fixed.
* Starting external sound editor (F5) in windows didn't work, fixed.
* A file selection box is now used to select external sound editor in windows.
